Insurance receivables continue beyond receipt of an insurance payment. If you are contracted with an insurance carrier, Champion RCM will compare your contracted rate to the amount received and address any underpayment with the carrier, as underpayments are a contractual breach.
Credit Balance Management
Champion RCM offers credit balance monitoring and refund processing. To identify the accuracy of each credit balance, each payment and adjustment are validated. If the credit balance is accurate and owed to an insurance carrier or patient, Champion RCM will process the refund according to payer policies.
Insurance Eligibility Verification
Eligibility and Verification are critical in obtaining thorough information about insurance coverage, resulting in timely reimbursement. Failure to properly identify coverage will result in delayed or worse, denied payments. Champion RCM offers eligibility verification to ensure proper claim submission.
Insurance Billing
Champion RCM compares the provider's documented services to the billing record and creates a claim which is then filed either electronically or as a paper claim (depending on the payer). Our advanced software helps to identify and correct any improper coding errors. Should any claim be rejected from either the clearinghouse or the payer's front-end edits, the claim will be reviewed, corrected, and resubmitted.
Denial Management
Denials are an unpleasant aspect of medical claims processing. Improper or untimely billing can cause an insurance company to deny a claim. Champion RCM has over 25 years of experience in addressing and appealing denied claims. This knowledge and experience results in a very high level of denial reversals.

Champion RCM understands the importance of accurate payment posting and has safety measures in place to reduce posting errors. Thus, ensuring correct patient balances and adjustments are formulated.
